The reason why I decided to study abroad in Japan was because Japanese social problems were similar to Korea, so I wanted to study about them. Because I was interested in issues such as the concentration of population into the capital city and the disappearance of provinces due to low birth rates. Since Japan had encountered this problem before Korea, the related policies were more detailed than Korea, so I wondered what it would be like to have such a policy in Korea. From this point of view, I decided to study in Japan because I thought that an understanding of one country's policy or system could develop another country.
The purpose of studying abroad is to study programming with multiple majors, so I want to understand the economic situation through data analysis. Currently, there is a huge change in raw material prices due to the war between Ukraine and Russia, so I hope we can study how it is affecting the Japanese economy. Also, if I can take classes in other departments, I want to improve my skills by studying data analysis.
And I don't think there are many opportunities to get along with people from other countries. I want to meet someone who can keep in touch even if I go back to Korea.

When I first went to school and talked to the seminar teacher, I remember that he greeted me as Korean. When I first came here, I couldn't speak Japanese at all, so I felt that such a greeting from the teacher would make me less nervous. I introduced myself to the people at the seminar afterwards, and then I went subway with everyone to go home, at that time, a man who wasn't a seminar person talked to me. The student was interested in Korea and K-POP, Korean culture talked to me about various things. We promised to meet again, and on the day we promised, we went to Sannomiya, ate ramen, and then went to Harbor-land to take pictures together. I heard about an old earthquake from a friend. When I first came to here, I felt pretty but it is meaningful, amazing. I went to ChinaTown and found out that Kobe has been open a port for a long time, and that foreigners are often there. That's why I thought there was a beautiful place like Kitano Ijikan Gai. But my seminar friend had a graduation seminar, so I didn't have any friends in class, when I took the monetary theory class, the teacher said something important, but I didn't understand it. so I talked to her in class. I said I'm exchange student from Korea and I don't understand things the teacher said. So she tell me about it. And we walked and talked about a lot of things on the way and became friend. I ate akashiyaki with her and said it is amazing. she laughed. Now I don't know why she laughed. It is delicious.
When I studied in class, I took pictures and translate it. But when I couldn't understand teacher's handwriting , I sent picture to my friend, so i understand it. Studying for the exam was really difficult, so I went to STARBUCKS and McDonald's near my school and studied hard. But the result wasn't so good, so I was sad.The classes with math problems were pretty good, but the classes with descriptions were tough. I studied harder for the descriptive exam than for the class with calculation questions, but I got lower results.
I went to Center plaza and went shopping and sightseeing by myself near there. Since I was alone, I didn't care about other people's eyes, so I went to Animate and bought things that I wanted. I was afraid to go to a restaurant alone, but I started going to eat beef cutlet and ate many things. I still remember going to a yakitori restaurant and eating it was very delicious. I have been to Ikuta Shrine several times because I like traditional Japanese buildings. I think it's a nice place where you can feel the scenery from the fountain.From this time on, I could listen to what the teacher said more and more, and I asked questions about what the students presented at the seminar.I might have asked the most questions at the last graduation presentation.

When I first came here as an exchange student last April, I spoke and listen to Japanese and talked to my instructor, but I couldn't understand. And when I introduced myself to the people at the seminar, everyone told me what I was like, but I wasn't good at it, but now I'm able to tell other people what I thought, and I studied Japanese hard to get JLPT Grade 1.I didn't expect to grow this much a year ago, but when I look back, I'm sure I've grown up.I was planning to study programming, but I studied hard until the first semester, but I didn't do much from the second semester, so I think I'll study when I go back to Korea. However, I think this is definitely meaningful because I took a class that wasn't in our university.It's linear algebra, but I think it's necessary to understand programming well.I wanted to understand Japanese culture deeply, but I couldn't do that in a year.If I could make close friends, I would be well , but it was difficult because I knew them and that was about it.I thought it would be hard to live alone in a foreign country, but it wasn't."At first, I wanted to go home for a while, but now my living ability is higher than before."I made lots of fun memories in Japan and might work in Japan after graduation.I am also interested in graduate schools in Japan, and I am considering this as well.
