There are two experiences why I applied to this program. When I was I child, I used to live in the US. At that time, I saw my father working with his colleagues that were from around the world. As a child, I looked up to him and also wanted to be like my father. The other experience was when I was 21. I joined an internship held in LA for a month. This experience truly changed my perspectives and made me think to want to work abroad in the future. My biggest purpose through out this internship is to seize an image of what it is like to work in a foreign country. One of my dreams is to work abroad. For that dream, I would like to work in Australia, feel the difficulties and connect it to my future.
It has been about 2 months since I came to Australia. In my language school, there was an impressive experience. In on of my classes, I had an opportunity to watch many presentaitons that were conducted by from students all over the world. There was no gap between the quantity of the presentation. But there technique of drawing in the audience was much above compared to mine. From that day on, I tried to use more body language in my presentaion than usual.
There are two things that I learned from this internship program. The first thing is that I do not have any ability. After the job-hunting experience in Japan, I had confidence about having a job. But when I started the internship program, I noticed that I had nothing, From that moment, I tried everything to fulfill myself. The second thing is to have a strong motivation. Once I got used to the environment, I wasted time. For that to not happen, I talked to my boss and did as many jobs as I can.
