Since my first glance of Japanese animation when I was in high school, I have got interested in this country. Therefore, I chose Japanese language and literature as my undergraduate major, and then applied for an exchange program with Kobe University. For me, Japan is a fascinating country with a long history and a splendid culture. I am looking forward to walking around every corner in this country, and actively communicate with the local people to feel the soul of its culture. In the future, I plan to make full use of my studying experience there and devote myself to promoting mutual understanding and friendship between the people of the two countries. I will definitely cherish each day in Japan.
One day, when I was walking in the street, a gentleman suddenly turned back and asked me whether I was a Chinese. I was confused and failed to answer him at the time, then he continued to say, ‘hope we can work together to build good relations between Japan and China.’
Like many people who live abroad, I struggled with the language at first but everyone here is so kind that they always listen to me patiently. When I got some persons helped me, I feel so moved, because life is not that easy in foreign country.
The experience of studying abroad has offered me different perspectives. Talking with people from different cultural background got me rethinking about my country and my own experiences, I start to look at things in different ways.
Studying abroad is definitely the most important experience in my life so far. I appreciate for this opportunity to study in Japan.
The experience of living and studying in Japan has introduced me to an entirely different worldview. With its unique combination of cultural tradition and technological innovation, for me Japan is definitely one of the most fascinating regions in the world.
The Japanese people are extremely welcoming. I had a great experience while making friends Japanese students are very friendly towards international students and are proud of sharing their language and culture with me.
My future goal is to enter Chinese companies doing business in Japan. Although there are a lot of uncertainties in the global economy right now, China and Japan share a very strong trade and investment partnership. And I will also continue studying Japanese to further level up my language skills.
