The first time I began to learn Psychology, I’m sure that it is the field that I want to study in within my future life. Since my major in undergraduate is Japanese, I think it would be a best choice if I can step in a graduate school of Japan as a student major in Psychology. I have been studied development of human psychology, abnormal psychology and etc. When the seniors sent me the list of curriculum, I was surprised to find that I can study in psychology as always when I’m in HUTE.
My plan for studying psychology, a subject which can cure people, is to learn the abnormal phenomenon as explicit as I could so that I can make flexible use of some specific theories, and by doing this will make me be closer to a therapist that I’m wanting to be.

It has been 8 months since I have been in Japan. And the 8 months are literally the most fabulous time throughout my life.
I was permitted to take a part in Professor Ito’s seminar, and as a member of the research laboratory, I went to the training camp with my laboratory members in August. It was so rewarding to listen about the presentations during the workshops and symposiums of the Cognitive-behavior therapy society.
It is such a luck for me to be admitted into Professor Ito’s research team and I am extremely grateful for Professor Ito and the members of the research laboratory, for they are helping me out of kindness and selflessness.

I finished my last presentation in Japan yesterday, and it means that I only have 3 weeks to go before I am leaving Japan. It is literally an extremely special year for me. With the help of the Prof. Ito and my lab fellows, I have made it finishing my research which is actually I care about by the first time.
Also, it is my first experience on learning how to be a foreigner living oversea.
People always know someone by the stereotype when they did not actually meet each other. However, it is not the best way to blending into a different culture. I have been always holding the image of Japanese such as they are acting just on the basis of the rules, or they are all keeping to their inflexible social boundaries. And I could not say it was wrong, but putting the stereotype aside is the only way to actually know someone. It could be the most treasured experience for me putting aside a fixed idea or image and being associated with Japanese people.
I will always be grateful to everyone I met in Japan.
