I have been studying Japanese since junior high school. At first I was interested while watching Japanese dramas and movies, and lightly studied Japanese. However, the more I studied Japanese, the more I became interested in the country of Japan beyond language. So, I was able to enter the university major related to Japan. Before entering university I went to travel with my family to Japan. However, since I entered university I was able to go to Japan not only to travel to Japan. So, I went to Kyoto last year to exchange with Japanese college students for a week. I was able to think that traveling and going to the university for study is different thing at that time experience. Since then I wanted to study with Japanese friends at a Japanese university. I always thought it was fun to meet new people. Moreover, I was also interested in the country of Japan as I was doing Japanese original theater as a club activity at the university. I thought that I would like to study abroad in Japan through such various experiences.
Homestay was impressive in various experiences while studying abroad. It was fun to spend days together to go to the house where the Japanese people live. The Korean house is in the shape of an apartment so it was nice to be able to experience a Japanese house. Also, I cooked Japanese home cooking from the Hoast Family and ate delicious. Among them, jagaimo were very tasty. I thought that the jagaimo are similar to Korean food called Bullgogi. It was a great experience as I was able to know more about Japanese culture.
I finished studying abroad for about a year that I hope do not finished . I was delighted to learn various things while studying abroad for the past year. I had a meaningful time. Especially in my case I was able to have more various experience thanks to the scholarship. It was really nice to be able to travel a lot of other places in Japan, not just school.
